INTRODUCTION

right where do i start well i think we need to start back to the year 1989 where me and me mates decided to make up a radio station by just using a twin cassette deck (remember those) and did a rock show.
moving on a few years to the year 1991 i used to go up my local nightclub in town and hang out with a mate who was a dj every so often he let me have a stint and from then on i got the bug for it .
when he decided he diddnt want to do it no more he asked me to take over is slot but that was down to the manager of the club to decide, but diddnt take him long to decide as towards the end i seem to be doing more and covering for my mate and manager was impressed how i used to fill the dancfloor, so when the time came and he asked me if i like to do it i said yes .
it started of on what they call the cheesey room where we played 50s 60s 70s 80s party stuff  on a saturday night, this grew from one night to two nights friday and saturday night in the cheesey room.
then the big one came manager asked if i liked to do the thursday night as well on the main dancefloor so shift was changed i did thursdays and saturdays one week and thursday fridays the other ,
i was at club for 10 years as resident dj .
from the nightclub i went on the road with a mate of mine doing mobile discos and weddings

then came the radio stuff , i used to hang out in a chat room which was part of a radio station this station was called titan fm i got to know the crew really well , you can find the  remaining shows on file on this site along with some of the crew of titan fm .
from titan fm i went to a station called destiny radio  started of as presenter then as co owner and finally owner of station in its last year i was aT destiny radio quiet a while (you can find some of the shows still left on file on this site) and the crew from destiny radio , ive also showcased two of the djs from destiny who used to do podcasts.
from destiny i floated about a bit i did a breif spell on digtial sounds barnsley dynamite fm then a short spell on gemini sounds radio, only here a short time due to the fact my internet for some reason diddnt like the icecast they used to use .
from gemini sounds i moved onto golden grooves radio (of which u can find the shows on this site)
then to  have a blast radio since  from 2021 to 2023 from there moved onto social music radio starting on there 14th october 23 to 26th july 2024.

there was a short gap then till 17th august 2024 when i started on new direction radio and enjoying this station very much you can catch me on here saturdays normal time 6pm to 8pm but changes week by week check schedule on main page and at moment im covering on a sunday from midday to 2pm
